Online Environments and Curriculum Certificate Program
This certificate program is only available in English.
Setting: Early Care and Education
Textbook Information: No textbook is required to complete this certificate program.
Program Description: A comprehensive early care and education program includes creating a respectful and responsive environment in which children can develop, learn, and grow. When environments and curriculums are not designed to meet the needs of the children in the class and adapt to their ever-changing needs, a program will not completely meet the needs of the children and family it serves. Creativity and multiculturalism are two key aspects of creating an open, respectful, and responsive environment and curriculum. Participants will learn how to design and implement a curriculum that is responsive and purposeful. Participants will also learn about the importance of a strong art and music, how these experiences can aide development, and how to provide these meaningful experiences. In this course, teachers will also learn how to create a respectful, multicultural environment in which children can learn and explore.
